If I've sold something not through eBay whilst it's listed with them (like a car for example) I ALWAYS included in the listing details that it was for sale elsewhere and may be sold prior to the listing ending. Also, you cannot remove a listing from eBay once it has bids or remove with less than 24hrs prior to it ending.
