That shouldn't have happened, but it's quite normal for new wheels to need a re-truing shortly after they've been built. Take it back to the shop, explain that you only bought it two weeks ago. That said, the wheels that came with my Fuji weren't great (but that was a 2006 model) and I replaced them very quickly. If you can afford to spend £100 on better wheels, it's a very worthwhile investment. Use the other wheels on a rat bike.
