evil... a couple of friends had bad experiences with them... anyways- you can always get an adapter, but the major reasons for the Sram are: removabilty Price and shift ratios (until the 11spd alfine came out and then i thought about that for a bit.) but still i motion 9 ftw!

But the alfine weighs far less. Those i-motions are made out of lead. Plus if your going off road at all, the shimano is apparantly better sealed.
