Bars are easier to stand on than a saddle, especially during manoeuvres involving substantial changes in pitch attitude. Just a theory.

I am new to the single speed/fixed scene.I have just purchased this single speed, which I think is a Simoncini.
Has anyone any idea what it is?
The question is, why did you post your bike here, hoping to get an answer?!
Wait a minute, is that a Unipack? -

That's Peugeot just.. wow, it look perfectly decent and well build had it not been for the excessive amount of whiteness.
-
• #10757
It just looks like ghost bike. Bad juju.

Storage rack for a Garmin Edge GPS? The GPS mount position suggests it's not there to be useful when actually riding.

But it's a Simoncini. Everything's possible, no?

If it isn't a trick bike then won't be riding it far with no saddle and a GI of around 26" :-)
Although trick bike usually have saddles that look like they came from a Raleigh Budgie.

What i thought, Unipack with drops n charge saddle.
OSCC too.I think it's one too...which is a fucking shame if you were told it might be a simoncini...
Simoncini have pantographing all over the place...the geometry is all wrong too...it should look like an 80's road bike....
thats definitely is a 'Cack'...even the wheels are cack...the only things none cack are the bars and saddle...OP...simoncini...when did you buy it ...if it's within the last week or two take the damned thing back to the seller they have ripped you OFF...really badly!!!
If you paid more than about 100 dorra.....whatever you paid ...you don't want it...it's a piece of shit...
from the tyres upwards!!! -

what a fucking waste!
I quite like it this way :-)
As for the "Simoncini" - like I said, they all have engraved headtube and Simoncini dropouts.

Yes, it's retarded. Only because it's Colnago. It's like wearing trainers with the suit (I'd change that front wheel).

Rank.
Hi
My recently build. A Wilson of Sheffield track frame. Nigel (the actual owner of Wilcon Cycles) wrote: "*this is a priceless frame! built in the early 70's by my father Jim Wilson". *Outfitted with Campag, Cinelli, Avocet and Zeus components. Renak track hubs and nos 70's CB italia wood rims.

DON'T FUCKING QUESTION HIM!
Pictures of the lugs/dropouts please. There's non? Not a Simoncini then.
They always have and engraved logo of the cyclist on the head tube, usually Simoncini dropouts too.
