  • It amazes me when people do this, I was sat at the lights by Angel tube heading south the other morning as this guy wobbled over the ASL in front of two cops in high vis vests. The rest of us waiting at the ASL were incredulous, actually had a rare moment of chat between various commuter types as none of us could believe what a dick he was.

    p.s - 25 uphill, that's impressive! I love drafting buses, but it is dangerous isn't it :(

Spotted by me and fluff this morn: we approach Waterloo bridge / Strand lights, just gently overtaking a pootling scruffster (scruffy but hip) dude on one of those Gangster Attitude bikes (or whatever the fuck they are called: you know, orange frame, cowhorn risers, sprung saddle, the fixie cruiser shite OTP). We stop at front of ASL, chatting, in a decent position to make clear we're heading for the little cyclepath that crosses the walkway there, heading up Bow Street. He does that awkward shuffle in front thing with his feet, still on saddle, to get in front of us. Dick. Then creeps over, RLJing in the very long pause betweeen traffic phases there, many do it. He's heading for the cycle path too. There are dayglo cycle cops standing right there giving someone else a ticket. He somehow fails to see them.

I laughed at you as we passed, in a real schoolyard 'shame, sussed, nyarr nyarr' way. I am not proud of this. I couldn't help myself.

Sorry you got a ticket, you plonker.

Also, me draughting a bus past a fancy roadie yesterday uphill near New Cross. I was doing about 25. Dangerous. Bad Skully.
