Actually mine have been ok. I'm just over never knowing what state the flat's going to be in when I come home.
You also have to factor in that I'm a massively obsessive neat freak, so my idea of tidy/clean may not reflect the general consensus.
I can empathise with this. I'm also a slightly OCD neat freak (can't sit down and relax till i've cleared my peripheral vision of aesthetically displeasing clutter) and I live with my borderline FERAL girlfriend. I have come home to find knickers on the kitchen surfaces, week old washing-up festering and there is nearly always a pile of shoes in the toilet where she kicks them off then leaves them. I'm in near permanent state of nervous breakdown about it. Anyway, I better leave it there or I may rant properly. I bore myself going on about it to her and and anyone who'll listen...
