I had the in-laws round all weekend so didn't get a much of a chance to play :(
[SIZE=2]So I'm still trying to get to grips with it. I'm not sure if I'm disappointed yet or not.
The physics are identical to GTA (no surprise I suppose) but I think in some ways that's a fault. They don't seem to have been improved upon what has gone before and seeing the fluidity of MW2 (for example) I would have liked a similar feel. The gamplay is also structured like GTA which again is a bit 'tedious' in that I've been there, done that, how about something new?
I think how Oblivion and Fallout 3 - both by the same company and both using the same engine (I think) were completely different in terms of mood and game play. I almost think that RockStar have rested on their laurels and haven't pushed it too far. That said my impression might change with a few hours of play. I did enjoy the hunting stuff to make money.

yeah..you have a real good point..i did like the go i had on it but i could imagine it being a bit boring, my mate just unlocked Mexico so going to have a go on it and hopefully there will be a bit more to it rather than miles of desert and creaks, random people around camp fires..end up getting in trouble real quick because youl be galloping for ages and not see anything and youl come across some campers and its so hard to resist blowing them away!
