red dead redemption..fuck yeah.was playing it last night..well good game, love lassoing people and shooting innocent people
I had the in-laws round all weekend so didn't get a much of a chance to play :(
[SIZE=2]So I'm still trying to get to grips with it. I'm not sure if I'm disappointed yet or not.
The physics are identical to GTA (no surprise I suppose) but I think in some ways that's a fault. They don't seem to have been improved upon what has gone before and seeing the fluidity of MW2 (for example) I would have liked a similar feel. The gamplay is also structured like GTA which again is a bit 'tedious' in that I've been there, done that, how about something new?
I think how Oblivion and Fallout 3 - both by the same company and both using the same engine (I think) were completely different in terms of mood and game play. I almost think that RockStar have rested on their laurels and haven't pushed it too far. That said my impression might change with a few hours of play. I did enjoy the hunting stuff to make money.
