Ways not to lock your bike

I wouldn't go as far as calling that lock "fucking rubbish"... It's not great but I think the little combination lock ^ upthread that's about the same diameter as a piece of string is "fucking rubbish".

Slack locking though. Was the Colnago a track bike or a conversion?

If you consider the different values of those two bikes and the respective locks I would still say it was fucking rubbish it would take seconds to cut through that with the right tool, the one upthread like a piece of string is disgraceful.

There is a serious problem with theft around that area, I lock with a mini fahg and onguard bulldog and still get paranoid, and my bike is worth half the Colnago.

I wish I had paid closer attention to what the bike was but I had been on the beers and was heading to get more so wasn't really looking except for spotting it thinking it was a seriously nice frame and then what the hell is that lock.
