Yep. Leaving as close to 8 as we can. Obviously, if there is a problem with someone getting a puncture and will only be a few minutes late, we will be patient. Make sure you have a phone number or two of people who are coming on the ride. Useful on the ride too.

And a repeat of the original advice on the OP: please check over you bikes, tyres, check and tighten nuts and bolts and oil your chains, cream up your bodily cracks if that's your thing etc. etc. Bring all the tools and tubes you might need. If you're worried that your tyres may be a little old, bring a folding one, two spare tubes, whatever. Or better still go out and buy some new ones today.
Also bring water, and some salty as well as sugary snacks. The dehydration risks are greatly increased in hot weather. Salt and sugar together are really important to help reduce this.
