  • qckpckt, this is a common condition, and happens to the best of us. Sometimes the quality of the opposition varies, but the interesting thing about MW2 is that when you're playing well, you fall into a sort of meditative trance-like state. You're sharp, fast, the whole map is clear in your mind, you almost instinctively know where everyone is, you're quick on the draw and ready with pistol and combat knife....

BUT, fall out of this state, and you suffer, hard. Then it's a downward spiral. Get nailed a few times, you get the rage. You're craving for some sort of fix, proof, to yourself and others, that YOU'RE BETTER THAN THIS, you can play, forces you to run into battle more recklessly than ever, and invariably you suffer further, harder.

Switch the console off, take a cuppa, read a relaxing book, then get back to it. You'll be a machine.

You should be like a games guru btw.

Also secondary btw, I know who you are. Like a stalker, if you will. We have had dealings in the very recent past.

You may recall looking for some sidis in size 46 or 47, i forget which. I informed you that you were in the wrong spitalfields store of a particular cycling purveyor.

You made a quip about dismounting your bike to negotiate some one way streets. I got the distinct impression that you would in fact cycle down them and as such phoned the police. I am still awaiting my crime reference number.

(didja find them in the end? I do hope you utilised the very generous price matching policy that we offer.)
