@j b & drdvice, hello and welcome! If you're about to get used to riding in London should probably visit the locks the work thread if you want to keep your bike. The thieves here are merciless.

First post on the forum, so hello all.
I've just got my first ss after years of mostly riding my road bike. I'd like to try the track but have a really bad knee which I don't think could take it. Live in SE15, but ride past the Coach and Horses every Monday and thought it looks like a good scene. Always up for riding, or beer, or riding and beer.

PsAndy - you'll be alright on the track with your knee, there's no [or shouldn't be] sudden braking which is the most likely thing to give your knee gip
have a go, you'll love it

Hello everyone,
you've got another happy camper here. Last summer I've met a guy who was heavily involved in fixed gear bikes and slowly converted him in to downhill racer. Now I have a suspicion that this process worked both ways... I'm slowly building tall and skinny friend for my 8" travel freeride bike. MTBs compared to road equipment are like Legos to rocket science, but this forum answers most of my questions.
Besides bike addiction I work as graphic designer and motiongrapher so if someone needs some graphics done or moved I would be more than happy to collaborate.

You've not ridden the B Devil at the track league then? :P

Greetings from across the pond! I'm visiting London and don't think the trip would be complete with out a ride around town with a few locals. I figured here would be the place to find some people to ride with!

Hello, I am just back in London after a stint abroad, waiting for my bikes to arrive. Painful waiting for bikes in this weather! Come on UK customs! Taking the bus is ballbags.
