At least 4 forumengers in Look Mum No Hands yesterday around 6.
One guy I met at Easts last week, sorry I forgot your name...
Another guy in a 531 t-shirt, a girl in a pengi t-shirt, and another girl with them.
There were alot more than 4 of us there! John you should have made yourself known.
Good turn out from the Norths Crew especially. -

Anyone see the vintage cycling maps Clara was selling? Cause I've got a 1920's Cycling street map of London for sale, but could potentially print up some posters as the original is worth about £300. Thoughts? Can post a picture of it later.
They were cool - I wanted the Norfolk one but it'd had already sold. They all went in the end.
How much would the poster be?

A chap on a black bike with a yellow rear rim and blue chainset in Northampton town train station 7.50pm. Then the same guy an hour later leaving Euston

White Cinelli vigorelli (I think, definitely a white Cinelli anyway) with a white rear aerospoke, brakeless, burning down Essex Road just before 8.30 this morning then being caught up by a black Dolan who stopped for a chat.
Black Dolan rider said something as he overtook me - didn't hear what it was though and generally wasn't very awake if you're on here, sorry.

Rider was hatless...repeat...hatless.

Massive +1 to to this, I started riding the hipster spice route yesterday and this sort of thing is really titting me off.
This
What is it with the tits trying to undertake at the lights, front wheel wobbling all over the place, cranks crunching, gears slipping
Mate, I'm only gonna overtake you again 15yrds up the road so don't be a melt and get the fuck out my way!

today's thought for the day is brought to you by dooks.
this morning i spotted what looked like a "gorgeous baby blue" create at the lights at islington green. as i pulled up next to him i noticed it had the word "fixie" at a jaunty angle across the headtube. i was inwardly sneering like the worst kind of snob when the rider cheerily piped up: "hi! did it take you long to learn to track-stand? i'm still trying to learn" which somewhat disarmed me. i said "ahhh it's not hard really" and rode off feeling foolish and humbled.
the end.

Guapo in Tooting this morning, last person I expected to see!
My 'What the fuck are you doing round here?' actually meant 'Hello, how are you!' :-) -

near tottenham court road this morning...
a young chap on a black 50s ish 27 frame, but with 700c's, a bmx stem, bmx pedals, no retention, high and wide risers and brakeless!.
was doing hugely wobbly track stands at every junction, but just kept creeping forward and eventually giving up and RLJing. All in the context of a messenger calmly sitting on his top bar, foot down, on a lovely yellow concorde.
jesus wept.

Hispter on cream/beige frame with Brooks this morning on Lewisham Way/New Cross Road. I overtook you because you'd been crawling along past Goldsmiths and I was late for work, I wasn't Cancellara leading a break-away. Please don't then try your best to overtake me while I'm slowing for a bus pulling out, then weave pointlessly in front of me trying to work out how to get past another bus, before jumping onto the pavement to make 12ft...

I think I have seen this bike in West Central.
I sometimes get caught out by feetbelts being used with black trainers and thinking there is no foot retention but this fella is the full brakless flat-pedal Darwin.

Why all the roadie racing references today? And why are they all referencing things that have been posted on the "big Ring" thread in the last 24 hours?
