  • Oh, it is awful....but I like it. (Loose volcom+stem+straps) Shoreditch >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

  • They were banned by the UCI, apparently it gave an advantage because you could brace yourself against the rear lip whilst climbing ect.

There are some WAY more extreme versions though like this...

On another note, I promise violence against whoever has built that fucking Laser up. You've taken one of the most sought after frames EVER and built it into a rad fxxxie. I hate you more than fat kids hate gym class.

  • Harsh...because it's a laser.. but this is dumb, waste of piece of history : (

...i'm still not convinced though, some minor detaisl could make it porn.

  • Probably a repost, but my God.

  • ^^^ AHHHHHHHHHHHAAHHHHHAAAAAAAAAAAAA

    gay lord downhiller?

  • Aliens is disguise

  • hippies in disguise?

  • hahaha thats just horrid wes

  • There is something about mental paintjobs that really attracts me. Proper 'so-wrong-it's-right' stuff.

    I own a orange/yellow/green Colnago though, so I can't really comment.

  • its fucking awesome!

  • I don't get the hate for the Laser. The stickers are childish and the stem is wrong, but everything else is appropriate and no puppies have been killed.

wheels, stem handlebar and possibly seat (depending on your taste) are wrong.

It's like buying a ferrari and putting chromed rims (those fat ones with almost no gap between 5 spokes) its just wrong and you deserve to be shot for abusing a work of art.

  • Probably a repost, but my God.

  • It's too calm over here

Now if that was fully lugged construction...

  • wheels, stem handlebar and possibly seat (depending on your taste) are wrong.

The wheels are fine. Lasers should have discs at both ends, but Corima Aeros are still race worthy. Saddle isn't to my taste, but it is appropriate, which is what I called it, as are chopped and flopped drop bars, which were used on HH Orsted's Laser for racing (albeit cut a bit shorter) before Cinelli started making bullhorns from scratch.

its been avoided on water main many years now

The wheels have volcom stickers on them, the saddle i was ok with because it is something that actually would have been on it.

The whole stem and bar combo completely defeats the purpose of it being a lo-pro, the hand position is higher then what it would have been with a flat top tube with drops on, so what the hell is point of doing it on a lo-pro?

  • Spotted in Birmingham:

  • the hand position is higher then what it would have been with a flat top tube with drops on

The hand position on a lo-pro is supposed to be exactly the same as a normal bike with drops. Lo-Pros were never designed to get the hand grip lower, just to get to the same place by a more direct route.

  • White cranks and ring are a bit garish, but apart from that it's pretty stealthy?

    Bad locking though...

and this was already said by mdcc in his OP but much more condensed to "stickers are childish and stem is wrong"

  • I like the Cinelli too. As for all of you saying the person who built it up should be shot etc... How should it be built up then?! It would look fucken shit and boring if it had double discs or low profile silver rims with gumwall tubs, etc. The carbon rims are a nice modern addition and actually compliment the bike quite well. As for the stickers, well... they're stickers... they peel off.

    Plus, Volcom make good clothes.

  • I do reckon the stem should be pushed further into the frame but as was addressed before, about another bike, it may be NOS or whatever and they don't want to mark it.

  • it may be NOS or whatever and they don't want to mark it.

So wrap it in tissue paper and put a Cinelli 1R on there, which is what it should have.

  • Double discs would not looks boring, double discs would look awesome.
