Hello Cat lovers, I have a question: I have just acquired a 1 year old cat from a rescue home, he is friendly to both humans and other cats. When we got him back to our house he legged it straight behind a book case and stayed for 4 days! Should I leave him to realise things are ok and come out in his own time or should I go and get him? He does eat when i put food in there for him and responds reasonably well to contact. I know he had a tough start in life and I aim to give him a good life, bless him.

I guess it's better for him to realize things are fine. I doubt forcing him will prove fruitful.
