it seems strange that the lib dems are banging on about proportional representation but dont seem to mind being over represented in the cabinet
I don't get it. There are about 20 positions in the primary cabinet. The LD's have about a quarter of the vote and currently 3 cabinet positions with another 2 expected. How is that over representation?
Edited to add that they currently have 3 out of 11 positions with one undersecretarial place for Cable. This is still hardly out of the realms of PR and given that the Cons have practically no representation in Scotland is it surprising that this job was given to a Dem from the off?
