    you seem to have a very healthy and honest opinion of yourself; you seem to be self confident and sorted, healthy and happy. Dropping a few pounds wouldn't make you any happier - that's a load of toss you've picked up from magazines and other media.

    That's what I'm trying to say. If a nearly thirty year old woman who has always done exactly what she pleases can still be very deeply effected by what the media portrays the ideal woman to look like, then imagine someone that isn't as old/tough/mean/witchy(canadian) as I am having to deal with it.

    Yes, people should be healthy. But having the occational non-skinny role model isn't incouraging fat people in my opinion, it's re-dressing the media balance.
