• I'm not suggesting you made them up. I'm suggesting you cherry picked your 'evidence', and you know it. Your argument that UKIP are racist was weak to begin with, and it all started from you laughing at the guy involved in a plane crash, then justify it by saying that a) it was non-life threatening and b) claiming he's racist.

He is a racist (UKIP isn't as a whole, but some supporters might be as well - same for any other party). He made racist comments. My daughter is mixed race and what can I say - fuck him. If he ever made any racist comment in my face I'd put him back on that plane and make sure his banner tangles up in the tail again. But that's me.

  • she makes herself so easy to hate. She's almost like the daily mail in human form

There was someone on TV this morning, a Daily Mail journo, who was this. I wanted to punch her right in the mouth.

  • Holy shit!

"do you think if you'd had a better sex life, he wouldn't have done this"

    ????

    What the fucking fuck?

She almost made the top of the list.

  • Glad to see the religious editor of the Telegraph is as much of a bigot as most of their readers;

  • "his dogged, secularist campaign to have people of faith – any faith – swept from the public sphere."

This is where not having a written constitution (and also a non-elected head of state who is also the head of the CofE) causes problems. Although a vast majority of GB probably think Church & State should be separate, there's no precedent to call into action..

Just spent 20 minutes reading some of the comments on that blog. I have yet to see anyone who supports the guy who wrote it, deliver a concise and reasonable argument to defend his article (if you can call it that). Nutters.

  • Gordon's gone

Maybe we'll see a deal with lab and the libs - fingers crossed!

  • Hilary Benn for PM. Won't happen, but I can hope.

I doubt it. It's not all that democratic. Lib/con is most feasible votes wise, but least policy wise.

Whatever happens another election will be called in the next few months, which is why gordon is going. The next election campaigns are underway

  • Saw this scenario described yesterday.....
The process this would involve is so convoluted as to make it almost certainly impossible – but the theory goes that Gordon Brown resigns as Labour leader but not as prime minister, while Harriet Harman as caretaker leader negotiates with Nick Clegg. This would be on the basis that David Miliband will stand unopposed by any serious candidate as new Labour leader, so that the Lib Dems know exactly who they would go into government with eventually.

Once the deal is done Gordon Brown goes to the palace and advises the Queen that the caretaker Harriet Harman can form a government with the Lib Dems, then once Labour has its new leader in place she goes to the palace and advises the Queen that Miliband will be taking over as prime minister.

  • Anything could happen in the meantime though.

yeah I agree. so many variables now in play. there will be much written about what has gone on in the various meeting rooms over past few days. certainly brown has stirred the pot, just have to see how the other 2 react.

  • Brown Bread.

    Tony Benn for PM

  • Who?

  • I was thinking about who types those things the other day. THat would do my head in

  • Alastair Campbell tells Adam Boulton what he thinks.

You have to watch this until about half way through. Hilarious.

  • Alistair Campbell is fucking wanker and New Labour are an motley crew of absolute turds. I can't believe people have their "fingers crossed" for them to stay in power in any proportion. Totally ridiculous.

  • David Cameron is fucking wanker and the Tories are an motley crew of absolute turds. I can't believe people want them in power in any proportion. Totally ridiculous.

I can't believe I do either, but sadly, it's the lesser of evils. Rather them and the libs than the tory party.
