2010-09-18 Sat - Clacton-on-Sea - Last Ride of the Summer

Do to it being so good last year I am re-running the Clacton-on-Sea Ride Saturday the 18th of September.
The distance is around 130KM, mainly flat.

Leaving East Drinks Pub No Later Than 9:15

Meant to do this last time. Will see how things are closer to the time.

Trains were no problem at all.

Last one there gets their bike chucked of the roof.

You have plenty of time to get a baby-sitter though..

Long days.

Chance of getting to the beach before sundown:
Favourable.

Wow! I never saw that video clip - what a good reminder of a great day. Highlights for me were the bike smasher kids and my saddle breaking about 40 miles into the ride - only to find out that Pajamas had a spare saddle with him!

It's a long way off, but I've already marked it on the calendar!

Mind you, won't be quite the same without 50/14 stowing his Pinarello in the overhead luggage rack.
