So given that the Conservatives have apparently got a massive share of the vote, but no overall majority, might they suddenly realise that they are unelectable in a first past the post system and start talking to Clegg about PR?
God knows if you can't win an election when Brown's government is the competition then you've got to start reassessing the situation.
I am quite surprised that the Lib Dems have performed so badly though. I wonder if, given their sudden popularity and the seeming possibility that they might actually gain power people finally looked at their policies and things like their enthusiasm for the Euro and their tax plans put voters off, and they actually lost it on policies?
