Tis a glaringly obvious mistake on my part.
I did look into it before putting the 29er together TBH. But those big hoops just seduced me. I'd also rather ride metal studded 29" tyres, than then uber fat studdless tyres in the winter, as there is usually a lot of ice around.
The obvious answer being that I need both :)
