They look like B43's. I've seen some tricksters using them but I would love to know how they'd handle the rougher stuff a cross bike would see.

Crosser's claim the deep section helps prevent heavy mud and shite building up around the ends of the spokes. It sounds like a clever idea to me. I cant imagine the stiffer ride being felt so much through the 35mm cross tyres either. I'd like some for my utility bike (based on cyclocross frame), so that I'm not carrying around a kilo of snow on each wheel during the winter*. Have'nt seen any wide enough that I'd be happy running a 42mm stuudded tyre at low PSI on though.
