    Reckon the Chainline will be miles off with a Freewheel screwed on with that wheel ... I know mine was with my old Regidas were when considering them for my current SS/Fixed Bike.

    yes it will be. when going from pretty much any multispeed freewheel hub to s/s you will have to respace the hub (i.e. move spacers on the right, to the left) and redish the wheel (i.e. the rim is now no longer in the centre of the dropouts) to get a good chainline.

  • I found it easier and more cost effective to buy a new wheels and buy a front off a friend.

  • to do that shouldn't cost anything. except the price of a freewheel. and the tools. every cyclist* should own cone spanners, spoke key and freewheel tool.

  • anyone know what 531 renovated will mean? resprayed, possibly rebadged I assumed?

  • Yes. Could be a variety of things. Repair, respray, etc
