owen, the spirit was quite good actually, but it really was raining so that the traffic seemed mad.
i'm proud of you guys to hear you really finished it after i bailed out at battersea. i thought about the miles home.
@vélo liblre: i think last night there where the most twitchy drivers on the loose - ever! - on my way home. two attempts, one had me shaking after turning into me from the oncoming lane without indicating or any other hint whatsoever. i swerved to the right onto the pave and into a chicken place. happily no damage, not even a scratch but 10 years of from my life span. driver didn't see me due to his fogged up windows. ffs!
things i learned: a forum rider's spirit does not hang on the weather and might surprise you.
a hope vision1 is not enough when it pours down.
i need sealskin socks.
it was just one of THESE nights.
A pair of knog frogs isn't enough under any circumstance. My geckos have gone missing though :-(
What were your lights? Your back light is seriously bright. way too bright really - it was all but blinding me whenever I was behind you. I want lights that bright for dunwich. might mount them a bit lower though :-)
It was enjoyable while it lasted, but the realisation that it was not going to get drier, coupled with a puncture at almost the exact moment I caught up with you at waterloo got me thinking it's going to stop being fun fairly soon.
