Well as the somewhat inspired name suggests, I'm Lee. You may possibly know me off Veloriders or the TT forum if you ever venture into such places.
I am a lifeling cyclist, my dad raced, my grandad has literally clocked up 100 of 1000s of miles in his life and is still out a couple of times a week despite bing well into his 90's now. I was 3 months old when I went to my first race, but if I hadn't of been born in December would probably have been sooner! Have raced road, track and cross with no great success but lots of fun!
Originally from Birmingham, I moved to London a few years ago and stupidly sold up everything other than my fave trackframe and considered myself an ex-cyclist. That lasted about a year when I brought myself a Giant Bowery to avoid using public tansport. Was happy just commuting until I did my back in in January and being almost unable to walk for 6 weeks revitalised my love of the bike. The Bowery is up for sale, my old track bike just needs a pair of wheels and I've just built up a lovely road bike. £175 for a scandium frame that was retailing at 1950 euro's five years ago is my sort of bargain!
So if you see a guy on a green and black Denti road bike or matt black track bike in somewhat old trade team lycra (or worse purple Halesown A and AC kit!) give me a wave!
This:
is a very good introduction.
So well done Lee.
