It's a totally different tool, unfortunately.

The Centaur one inserts internally to the cups.

The Veloce requires a tool that attaches externally.

• yup
a spanner as opposed to a socket

• sorry, thought i was good ferret

• I'll have to badger 31t®um instead

• might take a pint or two to weasel it out of him

• fuck yes and yes and yes

one is a jaw breaker, the other like rolling on an air bed

Ti is such a comfortable ride, but best bet is to go and try one

thanks for the info!
tbh it doesn't make me feel better about missing out on a ti colnago oval master last week.

• If anyone remember that shit weird yellow pursuit-frame I got a couple of months ago [1] then I'm still collecting parts for it... Actually I'm down to needing a straight blade threaded 650c fork to be able to put it together now.

I just got a couple of these here wheels ~55£, 26" front wheels, which I guess is an okay price.

edit; btw.. seller said he had a couple of old LoPro's he was getting tired of as well.. A Colnago, and he wasn't quite sure, but he guessed the other was a Pinarello..
I'll have to look into that ;)

• I am looking forward to seeing that when its finished, bonkers frame

• Haj your yellow machine is my favoritest bike ever.

• That frame is snazztastic!!

• the tornado reminds me a bit of this:

• melon; It's from the same era..

He builder lives in Odense, Denmark.. I talked with him on the phone about the frame, and he remembered building a few of them for the danish 4k team circa 1997. Apparently they where used to win the danish championship with no problems, but when they brought them to a UCI event in Spain they where no allowed to ride them.

• haj, i love that frame, it's gonna look great built up

• ...and got a win'n UCI fail history. love what you do with them propeller wheels, this is the frame to hang all the bits on, that would get slapped in the porn thread - and it'll still be porno_esk.

there was this weird earo bar up in that said thread, that'll be a fit, too. well, i look forward for the tornado to be assembled.

• Nice bike, TBA. How's the VeloSolo seat on longer rides? Just bought one... seems like a bargain.

Your punctuation, spelling and general use of English is really bad.

• And?

• As a general rule "And" should never be used to start a sentence.

ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

More projects, less high horse.

• Alright, I'm almost done with my build, but I need help to pick out the last few components.

This is what it looks like atm:

Parts:

Frame: Eddy Merckx with Columbus SL tubing. Need help dating the frame.
Forks: Supposedly the original ones that came with the frame. Can someone tell?
Campagnolo Pista bottom bracket
Cranks: Campagnolo Super Record Pista
Hubs: Campagnolo Record Pista
Rims: Mavic MA40
Headset Campagnolo
Seatpost: Campagnolo
Saddle (current): Selle San Marco Millennium
Bars: 3TTT
Stem: 3TTT

I need pedals, cages, straps and a saddle, but.. What would you do?!

Also, I need some kind of braking device.. I'm not too keen of drilling the fork and mount a brake, so I'm down to two options:

A: Buy a Dia Compe clamp-on brake in silver. I am not too sure whether this is going to ruin the looks, as it tends to look quite massive.
B: Buy new chromed forks pre-drilled, and install a brake.

Both leaves me to the question: Which lever, cable and brake would fit my build?

• Nice!

• Lovely!^
Pedals ... Campag pista
cages ... Campag
straps ... meh
saddle: 3ttt ... Unicanitor?
