...winding up the speed for the sprint finish.
I wish I'd have done that. I just wondered what all of the patched of red carpet were.
*Ba-dum, ba-dum. **Ba-dum, ba-dum. *Ba-dum, ba-dum.
*
Wha?Oh, oh it's over.*
I also had to ask where Trafalgar square was.

Who was the guy I spoke to who filmed us all leaving the roundabout? I want to see that footage, would give the flouncers an idea of just how many turned up as well.
Also who was the guy from East from San Fran? I'd quite like to see some of his pictures. It was me.
Been playing with the footage a bit this afternoon - will get it up on vimeo and a link on this thread asap! -

Crumb and myself found that we were in the back pack and decided to catch up. But the 2 groups were so seperated we kept on loosing sight of the leading pack and would end up getting lost and would end up with the back pack again. Quite frustrating.
i think we did really rather well.
we overtook a few groups. and everytime we made ground we had hipsters and policeman sending us the wrong way.
otherwise we woulda been well within the front group.
although no complaints, our group was awesome^ This.
I think I was in this group.
I ended up at the back with the MTB's and not too happy about it. Not a pace issue, rather a map taking fail.
The camaraderie was tear-jerking, I had a nice time. -

I’m from Bow
I was first across the finish line
This is not precisely true, is it?

I think his name was chris I rode with him for most if not the whole ride today he was on the White specialized with front red deep v's ( I was on the bianchi nirrone with a White 650 front b43 and rear black dodici ) this morning was great but doing 26odd miles on a empty stomache with the smell of fresh bread everywhere does get you wondering ..
P.s cheers for the twix![/QUOTE]
Hello mate, yep, that was Chris, I rode with you guys too, I had an excellent morning, it was a great ride, I think we'll take a map next year though!!..

How big was the gap back to the group that got stopped?
When I took that photo you can just see the last bike going into the distance that was the finish line (not a great resolution on my phone camera but blow up the pic and look to the right side of the marquee).
The woman steward in the red adidas top should be married to the cnut my learned friend referred to in a previous post.
I like this pic taken during the monsoon at the end
