  • dan, in that case, try out the Fizik Aliante, a very popular saddle as well as the cheap but well loved Charge Spoon/Knife (knife is just thinner, look more racey).

    also I think you should stop worrying about the appearance of certain saddle and choose the one that give you the ulimate comfort regardless.

    It's not just an aesthetics thing, I've tried various different Turbo's and Rolls, but they never really worked for me... I got a spoon saddle, which is good for anything under 50 miles, but the lack of flex in the sides ends up hurting my groin. I was gutted when an Arione didnt work out for me as the wingflex thing solves that poroblem.

    I've not tried the Aliante, though at about 150 for the non-cheap one I'd have to be able to test ride it — I have ridden a Gobi on one MTB ride, when I borrowed Neil Dammit's Cannondale and that was quite comfy, but it coud be to do with the riding position...
