How much more out of interest? You could easily spend £80 on a fixed drive train without thinking to much. Surely a beltwhip could be made out of an old belt no bother?

Front 46t sprocket 91 Euro Rear 24t sprocket 57 Euro belt 118 knobs 55 Euro
So a drastic change of gearing (ie one that needs a new belt) would cost me 203 Euro.
Methinks it's somewhat cheaper and easier to get an OTP belt drive bicycle.
Certainly true at the moment. I was lucky enough to get my gates system with my frame.
