Here is my current bike. I'm thinking of getting some purple bar tape, and a white seat post, as well as a new saddle and possibly a white stem. It's a lovely ride, did the 70mile round the IOW last week.

I think it is colourful enough. x

Toppers - just seen your post. Yeah that would be awesome - always nice to know some history! Any info you had on it would be great. It hasn't arrived yet, so can't give you any more details than are visible on the auction but anything you could find out would be great to know
i used to work in the shop that is shown on that frame. will probably have belonged to a member of the ratae road club that the shop sponsored back then. can see if i can find more out for you if you'd like.

Not my project but a friend whose not on the forum, thought it worthy of the thread anyway. Columbus SL tubing, straight forks, polished stainless steel dropouts, going to be lovely. Ron Cooper will be building it...

flip the bars mate, you're not on the track.

Seems a harsh thing to say to someone who was involved in an accident. Injured or not...
Unless you're trying to look like a bellend, I usually find it best to pipe down in these situations.
I wouldn't pay too much attention to velo libre or mstd_tester. They're bum-hounds.

Take that 'Marshall' card out the spokes, it'll make you look a cunt

Sorry, I 'lol'd'

If it wasnt for the Dildo masquerading as a stem, then it would be in the porn thread - i like the component itself, but just looks wrong on such a clean build

I'm going to see whether the mount from that stem will fit snugly on my Titan adjustable stem, the reason I'm not using the Titan is because the clamp size on the mount is 25 and those stem are known to be brittle, rather not risk it.

What's the stem?
fugly
and shouldn't that be in "names and faces"?
now it's a finished bike? -
• #27272
from what I have seen edscoble has never owned a finished bike...

Because Ed's fussy about certain details. Once he set his heart on something, he will get it for his bike.

then change it
carbon frame btw :>
Yes!!! It is Carbitubo model with double down tube... Colnago and Sarroni idea with Alan technology! Sweet frame. A have Colnago catalogue 1991 with this frame, but no pista - for timetrial. On my opinion, crankset, seatpost and stem will be better silver... but black wheels are cool for blue/black frame. I feel too many "blacks". Or repaint frame to black (man in blacks), but repainting colnago... shit...
