I agree.
And I'd like to take this opportunity (although I'm sure jonny was aware of the vernacular) to make sure people are au fait with another important morsel of cycling parlance:
'drag' - noun - not quite a hill, lengthier than an undulation, more susceptible to headwinds than hills, typically between about 3% and 5% gradient, Essex is fucking full of them.
Riding in Essex is a drag.

There are rumours of a rolling road closure plan being put into place not just because of the size of the peleton but for the safety of the badgers.

it's two trains folks (sorry bmmf)
get to station with time to sort out tickets and be ready to board train as soon as number goes up on board.
remember spare batteries and tubes etc. have good lights not your normal inner city shit. Always good to remember to listen for 'car back' shouts and to move to single file when we are riding with big numbers. don't make it difficult for cars to pass.
scarlett will be leading this one so don't be racing off in front and stretching the pack. follow his lead and if you are struggling or need to stop for any reason then let us know an d we can deal with it no problem style.19:40 kings x

I'll ride nice and steady on the front, and if you haven't caught us by the Thank-You/Cock combo, we'll wait in the scary woods for you.
Group 2 - don't miss the right turn into White Stubbs Lane (and don't piss about too much when you get to the station, FFS)
-
• #1074
unless you just want to wait for us and we all roll together? what's the weather going to be like

Thank-You, Cock combo, scary woods?
What have I signed up to here and is it too late to get my money back?
