Er Clefty, I'm not quite a technophobe but can I print out the Gmap sheet? The other one I can't see clearly (ok so I'm shortsighted. And what?) and I like maps in colour.
You can use the 'print map' link on the gmap page but I think it will only print your current view, so you may need to print it in sections if you want a decent amount of details.
I will have a few copies on me on the day, I've already given a couple of the girls copies.
Also if you can get hold of a free TFL cycling map (number 7 - Covers West London) the whole route does fit on there - so you could write it on the map from the gmap info.Oh also, there will be an ice cream stop in Battersea park!

Amazing

very slight change to the map - we're doing battersea bridge (next one along) rather than Albert now, as it's just not feasible for 60 ladies on bikes - and we also found a nice riverside bit along the river to take us to Battersea bridge

I think it's been asked before, but is anyone else doing the Marathon ride first?

Very much looking forward to seeing you all. As I'll be on a massive tandem with a 5 tr old in tow, happy to stay at the rear and be left behind. Will hopefully catch up at ice cream stop or hammersmith.
And FINALLY built my fixed this week, so next time can be properly in the groove. (except haven't put the chain on yet - bit daunted - will be seeking tips)

Boo - I'm out of town working all weekend. I'm so disappointed as I really enjoyed the ride last year (despite breaking penny and walking it home) and was so looking forward to a lovely sunny sunday pedal with all of you. Oh, well.....next time.
Have a wonderful day everyone.

What is the bike locking situation at the Old Ship? Will bikes be insight most of the time? Need to decide whether to bring the good bike or not...

shizer - not sure how best to get to the start tomorrow - I am near Tower Bridge and the only place I can see to get over is all the way over in Lambeth - how is everyone else getting to Jubilee Gdns from the North?

Can we drop by Cattersea on the way and be totally girly and pet all the cats? Guapo says I should volunteer there.
Oh, and I CAN'T WAIT! Erin, see you at your house in the morning? You haven't gotten my phone number, or at least you haven't texted me.

Lambeth is only one bridge away from Westminster which is the closes to our start point, if you go over at lambeth you can come back down lambeth palace road to jubilee gdns in 5 mins tops.
Good luck Stelly! Be sad not to see you though :-(
