I'm liking the idea of building a set instead of a factory set. Where did you find F&R Record hubs for £160 though?
You could try the wheelroom as they make hand built wheels. Uses cadence rims which come in light - got to have light hubs too obviously, give them a ring.

Yeah I saw Cadence rims a while ago (when I originally started looking for new wheels. They're also a consideration if they're going to be handbuilt...
