Since I'm off the bike and being a walkenger everywhere I notice more bikes since I'm not watching every Addison Lee motorcycle and peds for random life-threatening manoeuvres.
I've noticed a load of lime green Create bikes and Mongoose Maurices. I saw four of the latter today; is the Maurice the new Plug?
And peds are even more annoying when I'm on foot. This walking thing is making me more misanthropic.
how are you man???

I like walking occasionally you do see so many more bikes. I think it's that you're moving a slower pace than the prevailing wheely traffic rather than the fact you're not watching the road.
spotted last night a bus comedy crashed into the lights at angel and insanely angry police volunteer directing the traffic: "MOVE IT!". Had a bit of a laugh with the officer nearest me at his expense.
This morning a jaguar with half it's front end hanging off in the middle of Farringdon road.

Wicksie on Borough High Street... Didn't get time to tell you how hot the BJ looks, that van driver wanted to kill me... Fella on E&CR on a lovely purple number with silver Phils, very nice indeed... Thought I spotted reeen coming over Tower Bridge, had the cheesy grin ready and was about to shout 'Hello, gorgeous' before realising it wasn't actually him... Hehehe... Another beautiful morning, go out for a ride if you're lucky enough to have the day off...

gustav riding east on Old St. near Farringdon either last night or the night before.

A stylishly fitted out Independed in gorgeous baby blue heading down OKR, New Cross and Brockley last night. If I hadn't been out of breath from trying to keep pace with you, I'd have commented on the elegant bentwood Sykes mudguards.
And then this morning I noticed the phenomenon noted by dooks above - I stood for half an hour in the glorious sunshine on the corner of Elephant Road and watched so many fixed riders go past. A cap-wearing lady on a black Villiers with red bits swooped coolly round the corner, a "classic"-looking bike in drak green with a cream head tube (Bob Jackson?) went past, its rider carrying a blue frame on his back; the more predictable Bianchi Pista with woolly hat, a handful of langsters, condor pistas... Much more fun than going in to work really.

this morning 8:40-ish while waiting at a red light red on old street / curtain rd I spotted a chap in cap and shades on a large blue frame with Alfina fork and black risers, riding no hands in the middle of the road.
as he slowly passed me and the other stationary bikes he threw a look of utter contempt to every rider at the lights, he then RLJ'd passed an on coming car and pulled a one handed wheelie down the middle of the empty road!
the shape of this cut a perfect V in the distance, like he was telling us all to fuck off!
I felt like I had just been slapped in the face!I'm sure ive seen this guy and bike couriering in soho, although this morning he didn't look like he had a radio etc. if you're on here mate you got the skills! and a very sexy looking front wheel, whatever it is!

I didn't see you today Joe sadface
I did however see spag in Clapham, and the angriest white van driver I have ever seen on E&C roundabout, Screaming obscenites into his phone - doing about 40mph and completely failing to see me exiting towards camberwell, I stayed well clear.
Oh and PaulR stalking me on Elephant road it seems -I saw you lurking there and wondered what you were up to!

Hmm, I was just soaking up the sunshine. Well, I was actually waiting for a forumenger to deliver a brake calliper but he never turned up. Hey ho. At least now that I have some idea of what you look like I can shout at you next time.

I would argue that he is in fact a massive twat and exactly the reason why everyone hates cyclists. But I won't.

^I will.

The man who will be remembered as the edscoble of his generation?
Are you talking about Sheldon Brown, by some curious chance?

once, i was just trackstanding at some lights. he comes next to me. trackstands, but with one hand. being a child, i then go to one hand also. he then sits up, no handed. i reciprocate. he then does a backwards circle, and goes up on his back wheel and back down. i just replied, 'yep, fair enough'.
although definitely a twat. i've never seen anyone that comes near to what he can do. but that could be because most people don't flout it relentlessly.

He never smokes his own kippers.. He's always out until breakfast the next morning.

Think I spied you on your Merckx (bet your spotted count has rocketed since buying that!) coming down towards farringdon yesterday morning as I was sweating my my to Old St for a meeting.

ha ha, thats mental. i saw a bloke last week doing a no hand trakstand while texting at the lights near condor, TEXTING?! the funny thing was that the lights changed before he had finnished and he got overtaken by the whole world, totally defeating the ponit of said trackstand.

sounds very much like that would be me. tip of the cap to you.
and strangely yet, the new ride is quite the eye catcher it seems. and so fun!

nah, nothing alike. anyway, Alberto would look like a willy with a quiff.
Nope - I don't think that was me. I only got my Gazelle about 2 months ago. Until then you would have seen me riding a black Iro Angus, or a red and white geared Merckx. Though I am often to be found spinning round the park so hopefully we'll bump into each other :)
the fuckers don't have any buttons! :)
Did I tell you that work are going to force one on me though? I'll be a two-phones douche
Sadly not. See above—*though I did give a guy a tube the other day. Guess that wasn't you.
who was the guy on the most beautiful red 3rensho, with gum walled tyres and retro cycling shoes stuck in traffic on the Strand at about 7 O'clock today?
Wow, that is a seriously gorgeous bike—*extremely strong look
