You are spot on. Remember what this place used to be like when there was rep? Full of cliques justifying their insularity because they are 'friends in real life' and egging on the more easily-led in those cliques in to being the class idiot, newbies getting flamed for no good reason, petty disputes and grudges being carried on for months and months, a generally unwelcoming tone to anyone who didn't fit in with the 'real' members, ganging up on individuals in a bullying way, women members getting pissed off with all the juvenile sexism and misogyny and just drifting away so it became even more of a little boys club, incessant me-too ragging on 'nodders'. Thank God all that has changed.
