  • That is amazing Jammy!

  • Just finished this..

    :-(

  • Still waiting? :)

  • I've seen far far far worse (should be taken as a compliment). Those pedals needs to go though.

  • Hello peeps.

This is currently being fixfied but ......
Can anyone help me in identifying my frame. It says Carlton Sprint on it but I have looked through the old Carltons and cant find any called a 'sprint'. It seems like a nice frame with nice Lug work but is there anyway to tell if its 531 tubing? You thoughts, ideas and no doubt insults appreciated.

  • that raw steel trickster fixster (inherent waste of money, imo) has a hella steep headangle looks like it's gonna be vertical when built up. Do NOT like the way it came together, thus far. Looking forward to the final build though. might be proven wrong.

  • and owner of the cinelli---- ignore the asshats. ride the bike. new bikes usually look a little awkward when you aren't a nerd building everything perfectly. your bike will settle down nicely with a few tweaks here and there. looks fun.

  • forks on that carlton look bent... are they, or is it another case of the infamous camera angle illusion?

    Thinking about it... This.

the fork is mos def bent.

scroobius the beats on your new Dan Le Sac album are good, but FFS throw dans condescending self-righteous lyrics in the can. Painful.

74 degree HTA, it's the rear sloping top tube that's throwing your eye I'm sure.

  • Maybe release a dubs LP? You got one customer right there.^

What's the difference between a drummer and a drum machine?

You only have to punch information into a drum machine once.

    really 74?

whats throwing me is thinking the BB has to drop an inch or two. unless it's a super tall BB. But yea top tube isn't my reference point...

i believe you though. it's your ride.

    yar.

  • 65mm BB drop, slightly lower than normal track (as I'll be up high on big tyres)

  • :-(

    :( :( Hater.

  • @ jammy: huh. well lets see the final build. nice work, for sure.

    Always.

    (My bikes look rough, anyhow).

  • This is my "bike" it was a perfectly good Viscount 10 speed before I got my hands on it.
Any way first build and I was on a super tight budget.
( Brake went on 2 mins after this photo was taken)

  • :( :( Hater.

    Are you serious?

    No I'm having a laugh.......

  • No I'm having a laugh.......

I dig your sense of humor

  • belated rep for rich's bricks-lineup observation

  • Practical use of an engineering degree (and a love of things that are aligned with other things).

  • The handlebars on that Cinelli look like flaccid penises.

I would recomend a brake and/or some foot retention before the above
