  • Corima France - Was after the shims for a rather obscure corima ellipse aero post. Sent an email and had very friendly (if humourously worded) reply almost straight away, to say that noone in this country will have them, but they'd send them direct for only 12 euros including postage. When i did order them they arrived within 3 days. Excellent all round.

Thanks for the Putney Cycles reps, we do try! ;)

  • Freshtripe

Ordered summink, it was really very nice but not quite right for my purposes, returned it and was refunded straight away including the original postage. All within just a couple of days.

    Top drawer service and communication.

P.S. they've finally changed the category names on the website so now you can find what you're after without having to tear your head off.

Was this item you bought particularly embarrassing, you seem uneager to reveal what it was?

  • Lunar Cycles in Kentish Town - I'd never heard of them until re-cycled put me onto them, but had my frame reamed and faced and headset fitted for a bargain price. Plus they're really friendly and are rescuing bikes from Islington Council that would otherwise have gone to landfill and doing them up. They've even built a special bike trailer to pick the bikes up. Good stuff.

  • thetrimarket.com

they sell speedplay zero stainless pedals cheaper than anyone else

    http://www.thetrimarket.com/index.php/bike-store/pedals/speedplay-zero-stainless-pedals/p_223.html

emailed them late at night and had a response back in minutes

the pedals were sent the next day after a couple of days i chased them up, it transpires royal fail lost them

i explained to thetrimarket.com needed them for the next day. a replacement pair were sent by courier that arrived in time

will definitely be checking them out again when looking for bike stuff

  • LBS in Penryn
Bit of a hike to get there if you're not on yer bike, but great service (most of the time).
Got a free left hand crank and a few other pieces. Also the fella helped my not-so-in-the-know friends out with a tyre change etc in a very non-patronising manner.

    Winstanleys Bikes
Just got ma gran compe hub from them in under 48hrs as promised. Flawless victory!

    Bikes you like
Has anybody ordered from them before? They just called me the day I made my purchase to tell me they were out of stock of the item (which I usually find annoying not displayed on the site) but apparently I'll get my shiz on saturday anyway. I hope they pull through.

  • SBC shoreditch bike company have been very nice and patient with my beater

  • Cyclestore/Nelson Bikes

Havent actually bought anything, but phoned them to ask about frames. Bloke was very helpful, not rushing or pressuring. It felt just like talking to a small framebuilder. He knew I wasnt buying anything right away, but was still really helpful and seemed to know everything about the frames.

  • blb have been very good to me recently

Me too, just got my Colnago back from them today after a tune up and sorting out a problem with the gears, they did an excellent job and great service.

  • Just to say brilliant service from Chris at Mozz Cycling/ Swrve, I just couldn't get a style to fit me, took three atempts before 32" 'See my knees' hit the mark. I spoke to him on the phone and sent quite a few emails, his patience never wavered, he's a real gent. Thanks.
