I took the Spot out a bit too soon really, as winter still had a hold on the North side of the mountians. But the streets were clear and I was too excited to wait. Riding down a steep section of loose gravel I noticed that, as the trail turned left, at the bottom of the hill, everything was still covered in lumpy ice. Must confess to being a bit scared, as slidding off the trail would have resulted in going off a nasty drop. I managed to scrub far more speed than I usually can on this hill, and was able to hit the ice already turned in, and riding in a straight line. The easy modulation of the brakes really helped me out there. I think I'll give it a few more days before going back though.[/Self endulgent posting]
I cant recommend them enough.
