well that was a great way to launch the TNRC Deluxe
eight riders. quiet still night. many miles of smooth blacktop mixed with some very interesting sections, climbs, fords, roadworks, descents.
the first 40 miles seemed to be predominately downhill. of course this can't be so but the lanes were so smooth and we clipped along nicely. realising we might get to the coast too early at that rate if we didn't slow down a bit we dropped an mph or two.
we needn't have bothered as we hit a few navigation problems (martin's garmin had led us beautifully for the first 50) and a few mechanicals. all worked well as with the sun up we could enjoy the scenery over the last 25 miles.
94 miles spent in great company. cheers purple_mj, shoots, damo, fiammatta, marcom, balmain and of course tim. bright times during the dark times.
let's try and get a few pictures up those that took em.
