What really winds me up is people pronouncing Holborn 'holl - born'. It's Ho-b'n. The announcer on the tube gets it wrong ffs, and now every tit calls it Holl Born. Grrrr.

I've notice that I really ought to be calling Greenwich 'Grinidge' if I want to blend in to my new manor. But I feel kind of a fake. These things take time.

A friend of mine told me that someone was systematically going through all the street signs in Barnet and changing them to Barnét.
