I can't help thinking the top tube sticker would be more fitting saying "Strap-On"

Velo Orange front rack and rims (front and back), was needed to replace the tubular rims it came with originally, the drivetrain is perfectly indexed to the point that I don't feel the need to upgrade the SImplex drivetrain to a Shimano or Campag one.
next thing to do - chrome VO mudguard hopefully, right now I'm on the fence about putting moustache bar on it or leave it.

Just finished the freewheel skidder, now it's reasonably light and quite fun to ride, just need to replace the BB as it's a bit wobbly;

The red thing looks quite nice.
Does the blue thing have a coaster brake?
-
• #26635
Yes, I just realise the photo doesn't show the arm connected to the frame.

Hippy, you must go round Richmond Park with this contraption.

err.. i do have that s-works sitting in the bedroom.
coughOkay, not super expensive but still.
The rear disc doesn't really clear the chainstay though so they'll come off before I fit it all up.

Is it bad that this pic makes me all warm and fuzzy inside?
Anywaiz. I'm building a new bike. I'm in the "I'm just going to keep looking at stuff on the internet until it magically arrives at my door without me paying for it" stage. Identiti persona, the black one. I want it so I can find out whether I can ride fixed on mud trails. Prolly can't, but I'm happy to waste money to find out. :D

The blue no-brand frame is my first fixed build up, got the frame for free when my cousin got deported.
Wheels are old track tubs that I got off flea bay & have a lot of parts from other forum members.
I was hoping that this would be a track fame but so far the geometry doesnt appear to be very track oriented.
So far spent £120.
Only missing stem, tape, chain and brakes (for the street, yeah)The Chessini frame is a long term slow project that I hope to be an all day racer, sportives etc.
I might try to rebuild the trashed carbon rims but that might just be a bridge too far for my skill (and tools)
