Did this route on Saturday - recommend. How does it compare to the original route? Devil's Dyke makes for a nice little challenge at the end.
I've done parts of this route, too, but I'd always recommend the FNRttC route. I think it's by far the best. The way of getting out of London is unbeatable, I think.
