What's the etiquette regarding spectating?
I wouldn't mind seeing you lot go past, but on the other hand I don't want to cause teddy any problems (i realise free world... stand where i want... blah blah blah).
Are you heading east at any point on the ride? Whenish and where?

Will the bikes be locked unattended at some point?
I'm bringing locks but didn't intend to leave sight of the bike for more than a few moments.

Easiest place would be in Kensington Gardens near Round Pond. About 1.30 I would estimate. Shouldn't be any problems spectating there.
Not really going East.

Tweeded up... damn it's hot. I hope the weather eases of, I'm about to melt before leaving.
It will make for good photos though (the light, not the melting).

a lot of people are asking if it’s alright to show up and ride even if they’re not registered. unfortunately, the answer is no. it took us months of negotiation and compromise with the police, transport for london and the local boroughs to get our licenses and permits, and unfortunately the event is capped at 400 participants. we risk fines and closure if our numbers go above that. if you didn’t manage to register, you won’t be able to take part in the ride this year. terribly sorry about that. do cheer us on from the pavement though!
meh.

DON’T FORGET TO COLLECT YOUR REGISTRATION PACKS BY FRIDAY!
You won’t be able to ride in the event without them.

Well I'm heading out again, pashley broke its chain and I went for a trip. Have torn a set of breekes, sunglasses and gloves. Am gutted but glad it was a ladies bike.
Well changed to road bike and another outfit. See you all at the end.
