I hate people who decided that the best way to live life is to scream and hate and eat marmite, glad you're ok though.
reporting it may appear very much of an hassle, but it's still worth doing, even if the chance of result is very low, remember other cyclists may have reported him due to his aggressive behaviour (like the bloke you just chatted to), even if you hasn't got the plate, try and describe the vehicle/bloke as much as you can.
