  • Ah, well having missed out the above, anybody got a cheap track frame? 58-60cm?

Did anyone on here by that Marin Hamilton in Moseley? A nice bike for the price...

  • unlikely, I know, but does anyone have a french headset, or even just the top half?

And I'm also looking for a very cheap front mountain bike wheel (26") - not for disk brakes. any condition thats usable safely..

did you still want that front wheel? got a grey mavic x517 straight laced on shimano xt hub or silver mavic crossride. both in good condition. say bout £15/£30??

  • sugino messenger crank + 48t chainring (3/32"), silver, 167.5mm arms - unused (take off new bike) - £44.99 contact Dan at OYB

  • In desperate need of a frame!
no real matter what size or condition as long as its got forks and a headset and is really cheap.

really need it for a polo build so if anyone can help it would be really good.

also looking for a fixed hub wheelset and also needs to be really cheap?

big ask i know but anything will do.
    cheers.

  • There's a Bicycle Jumble Sale type thing in Kidderminster on Saturday 17th April Sam.. I'm heading over to it and Callum is too from Birmingham. Maybe you could pixk something cheap up there? I know it's a bit far off though..

  • yeh i heard about that did want to go but im at the polo championships nd i kinda need to get a frame before the 17th aha.

cheers for the heads up tho man.

  • wanna buy a 42t chainring.

  • i have a brand new 3/32", 130 bcd jobby - genesis brand, same as this:

    http://www.genesisbikes.co.uk/bikes/cross/day-one/

but march has been bad to me so i'll be looking for the ebay-tastic price of £20.

  • Anyone got some risers?

  • i posted this in the main classifieds, but maybe someone local can help...

im looking for a 1 inch unthreaded fork, need about 220mm steerer i think... (does this sound really long?)

not sure of the a2c, but im gonna be running a 32c tyre.

would prefer something fairly straight, and steel over aluminium, but im open to anything

also looking for a fairly short reach stem, either 1" or 1 1/8" unthreaded, a 1" unthreaded headset, and a pair of 700c 32c tyres...
    cheers!

  • got a 50mm 1/1/8 stem if you want it.£10

  • Elkie,

Finding 1" ahead stuff is not very easy. So you may be interested to know that if you get a regular 1" threaded fork, with an uncut long steerer, you should be able to use it in your threadless setup just fine.

You can get new 1" threaded forks with up to 300mm steerers fairly easily. Just get one long enough that you can cut off the threaded part.

might possibly be interested, depending on whether i get sniped in the next hour on ebay... thanks!

thanks for the info, i popped down to OYB and had a chat with one of the guys in there today, who was saying the same thing to me. he also said that with a steel fork, i should be ok running the stem on the threads if i was careful not to overtighten... i havent come across anything with a steerer as long as 300mm though? the longest ive seen on ebay is 222mm, from that bankrupt bikes store, where have you seen 300 mm?

thanks a lot for your help guys!

  • Just testing the water with this; ie not sure if I can buy anything yet - need to ask the parents. But yeah I'll ask you Brum guys anyway (I'n in Redditch) has anyone got some 700c wheels for fixed, and some cranks and also some sprockets, saddle and some nice risers and grips would also be needed.

    Cheers dudes

  • got some sprockets kicking around what size do you need?

  • Sooo,
    I'm about to build/recondition a bike for a friend.
I want to make him a 'cruiser bike' or something similar.
He needs a really simple (pref single speed) contraption, that is light and low maintenance with chuncky wheels.
Got a budget of 100 gold coins and no parts.

    WHAT YOU GOT FOR ME?

Back home in germany I actually have a Felt cruiser in my basement I am trying to get rid off. it has mega chunky wheeles and is mat black with those hot rod flames on it... very tacky :)

would part for it for around 150 euros only problem is... how do we get it to brum.

  • Bit off-topic, but is anyone interested in trading a few rolls of 120 medium format film (1 roll of ilford pan f 50, 1 roll of fuji velvia 100 and 5 rolls of fuji professional pro400h all in date) for some black and white 35mm film?

Hey, can only find info for a bike jumble on the 24th? Anyone got a link for it?
    Cheers.

  • Try looking up Campoldy on Google, there is normally a list of jumbles there.

EDIT: although that does say the Kidderminster one is on the 24th...

  • Oops! Got my dates wrong!
