Yeah basically, she was innocent of genuine provocation, but she most likely knew that what she was doing would nevertheless provoke unnecessary violence. That doesn't mean she wasn't innocent, and that the response was wholly disproportionate. If she didn't want a slap she should have known better. If she wanted to make a point about police being egotistical lairy cunts, then she very much suceeded.
They can slap you about for any reason, so they will. She knew that.
