03001231212 This is the Met Police for non-emergencies. I have used it a couple of times and keep the number stored in my mobile phone.

Out of curiosity, how does the reporting work? Can you just say "look out for so-and-so car with the following registration number" and describe what makes the driver a hazard? Or do they expect that you personally have been hit?
