Cheers Dude,
My vote would be for the robusto size Trinis (can't remeber what they're actually called). I think the marca's smooth style would be interesting in a fatter ring gauge, plus I've tried Reyes and Fundadores.
Not sure I'm ever going to be able afford them though.

^I think thats the Coloniales. I think they are 44 ring guage, bout £12 each. All the others apart from the Reyes alll the others are around the ££20 mark.
After trying a Reyes I thought that Trini taste would work much better on a longer fatter smoke.

Well done bro, specially in this economic crisis.
Must treat yourself then -

Good stuff dude1

Congrats, Jamie! You deserve to celebrate. That´s great fucking news!
I haven´t had the MC Sublime so let me know your thoughts.
I´ve smoked a few cigars here on the patio overlooking the Med. It´s a bit tricky cutting and lighting with one hand, but given the setting, I´m not complaining. See you all when I get back for more cigar fun.

My Cigar related luck has been pretty unfortunate this past week. Since last Tuesday evening, I've smoked 3 Cigars; a Partagas Short, a Cohiba Siglo II, and a Sancho Panza Bachilleres (my last one). All of them have been plugged - not really badly plugged, i.e. I managed to just about smoke them, but none were particularly pleasurable.
I smoked the Sancho last night, and after 2 tokes, I couldn't flipping believe it! Another plugged cigar!! I pushed a wooden skewer through the middle of it, which helped a bit...
I'm starting to worry that these tight drawing cigars are to do with the way I'm storing them. I know that sounds a bit stupid, I've been storing Cigars for the exact same way for a while now, but 3 plugs in a row has definitely got me a bit worried...

By the Dale, I think we should get some more Bachilleres in - and maybe even a couple of boxes:
Firstly, because I love them - they're a great mild smoke, perfect for a quick burn.
Secondly, they're pretty rare. Remember we looked in your Cigar bible (which was printed a few years ago) and it said in there that they are increasingly difficult to get. Well, the knowledgeable people in Selfridges humidor hadn't even heard of them, and said that they couldn't get them in...We should stock up!! -

I smoked my first Sancho Panza last night and it was a really nice easy flowing smoke, with a great flavour, starting out nice and mild and getting more flavourful as it went on, but never getting harsh.
A great cigar, and better than the Partagas short I had the day before.

If there is interest, I'm willing to stock up. You should try some of the other vitolas in that marca as well. I've still got a couple Sanchos but at 3 hours, they are definitely an 'event' smoke.

Will be out of the office for the next two days. I expect the cigars to arrive then, so plan on collections from Friday.
Sorry for the delay but need to put my bones in order first.

Coolio. When do you want my monies?
Are you still doing the Tweed Run on Sat? You definitely should. If you do, lets try and link early - possibly for a pre-ride cigar.
What were these new cigars you texted me about? Bring some on the weekend (I'll ply you with alcohol in return).
Also, there's another Cigar event on the 20th of April - it's at a different venue (still £25 a ticket), but looks interesting; Pierre Ferrand Selection des Anges (30 years old) cognac, coupled with the below (Juan Lopez Seleccion Suprema Regional Edition 2009):

Money on collection is cool. Can't do the tweed run because of my hand, but can meet up for a smoke and such. Gutted I can't ride.
Will tell you about the others and we can do a tasting. In for the event as well.
-
• #640
Well, the Tweed run ends in a party of sorts - goes from 4pm - 7pm. You should Dress in Tweed (or not) and come down for that anyway!
I'll look into the event, and let you know when I book tickets.
Good luck with the op tomorrow dude - hopefully there'll be some sexy nurses kicking about!

Alright all, I'll be at work tomorrow afternoon and Friday afternoon. I expect the cigars are there, so if anyone wants to collect tomorrow, let me know. I'll send PMs when I get the smokes, but just a heads up that it is likely tomorrow.
-
• #645
Shit yeah!
I'm going to come and meet you asap. I'll let you know if I can make tomorrow.
Am I still getting 10 Vegas, and 8 ERdM?
-
• #646
Sounds like the op went well then, glad you have made a good recovery.
I will PM back to arrange pick up. -
• #647
Dammit. No post today. I would expect them tomorrow.
-
• #648
Sorry Dale. I've had a hectic week. Let me know if/when you have any new cigars and I will deliver the hard cash.
Cheers. Oh, and get well! -
• #649
No worries, Kris. I'm still waiting on the delivery. Will let everyone know as soon as.
