At least the specifications don't leave any ambiguity over where it was made and/or assembled.

how does it make 700c wheels look so small?
-
• #6
if it was variable speed it would be pretty good, fixed-speed bikes are annoying.

This was 1 of the answers to "what is a fixed gear bike" question on the walmart description page for the bike - At 39 lbs. 11mph is about right!!
A: The wheels are linked to a subatomic inertia stimulation substrate, which means the wheels never actually stop turning. It is locked at 11Mph and in order to stop you must dismount and lift the bike off the ground. Remember to wear your helmet!
+1 Sounds like someone from this forum...?

'Fixed-speed' is good. I don't think we'd had that one before. :)

enough spokes?
I don't think it looks too bad for the price TBH. At least it's better than buying a squeaky 'full sus' MTB from the supermarket.

Q:
The discription states that the bike has caliper brakes, but the specifications state that it has calipur brakes. Which one of these is correct?

clearance at the back is worse than a unipack, mongoose or no mongoose. i thought it would weigh less being an aluminium frame, do they fill it with sand? wtf? are the rims made of osmium? to be fair it states the weight is "shipping weight" so they must put a LOT of polystyrene in the box.

Hi Will. Perhaps selling 40-odd pound bikes to obese people may be a good idea. Kill or cure...

Description. Try not to make a spelling error when taking the piss about a spelling error.

It can't possibly weigh 39lb can it? That's more than a Pashley.

Walmart are releasing their very own "fixed-speed" bike. That made me laugh. For the bargain price of $149. Check it
