yeah, i wanted a rim that wouldn't wear off.. ceramics should last years without tarnishing (unless i get grit in them and end up scratching the surface - thankfully crane had a pair for sale so i jumped at them, if i had got them built custom i would have gone for a lower spoke count but these are bombproof at least
